Renee is known amongst her colleagues and clients alike for her professionalism, integrity and loyalty.  Her keen sense of organization, expertise in managing details and meeting deadlines, combined with her natural warmth and compassionate nature make her a fabulous choice for any move or design project.  In addition to her real life experience, Renee has earned both a Diploma in Urban Land Economics and an Associate of Arts Diploma in Marketing.  She is also a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers, and has extensive experience dealing with individuals experiencing Alzheimer's and dementia.

Renee is our founder and team leader.  She enjoys a wealth of experience in all aspects of move management, staging and design.  After spending more than 13 years working for a Crown Corporation involved in accommodations of all types, Renee decided to focus on her family and work from home.  While working part time as a Finance Manager, she started doing Interior Design on the side "just for fun".  That "fun" developed into a business doing residential design, which led to staging homes for sale, which ultimately led to adding move management to the mix.


Move management came very organically when Renee first moved her own parents.  They had been in their family home for 15 years and were downsizing to a two bedroom condo.  The in-laws followed shortly after, but they had been in their home for over 30 years and liked to collect treasures from their travels.  They were all young seniors at the time of their moves, but it was easy to see how people of any age can easily get overwhelmed with all that there is to accomplish in a short period.  Renee thrives on getting things done and there are few people more organized than she is.  You combine these qualities with her genuine desire to help others, and the result is Simply Downsizing.
